How To Overcome Negative Circumstance

Are You Sinking Deeper Into Negative Circumstances?
(Daily Inspirational Memory Verse)
"He that hides in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the almighty"

Psalms 91:1

It's been a while since I've blogged on here, and it's very evident in my life. In reality, we all need our daily inspirational Bible verses because those small but powerful words can pull us through the most negative circumstances.

In news today, we are bombarded with negative messages. Our social media pages are filled with bad news and hurtful responses to that news. I'm ashamed to say that I've even participated in spewing the nasty post that's been in circulation, and I've had a lot to say in regards to "my people" being mistreated in the land of the "Free."  I've made some pretty good arguments, if I must say so myself, and felt very justified in doing so.

You see I felt, that I had a right to speak on their behalf, because I've experienced personally some of the issues that caused Collin Kaepernick to take a knee, and I've felt the pain of injustices that many white Americans have not. . .In essence, I felt that my pain gave me a right to share and comment and participate in sharing negative messages even if it didn't line up with what God's word says about the subject.

This is going to be a different kind of post today, but I promise it's going to bless you.

But I just so happen to pass by a mirror, and I could see how the negativity was consuming me and eating away at my very core. Honestly, I hadn't even engaged in it that long, but it had its hooks in me. The more I engaged, the more I became sucked into the grips of negative circumstances. In fact, the very situation that I had given to God and had peace about previously had begun to keep me up late into the night.

Eventually, my conversation changed, my positive mental attitude turned into a negative mental attitude, and negativity was affecting everything in my life. Honestly, it didn't, even, take long for this to happen, because just a little bit of negativity can consume you very fast.

Watch the clip below; enjoy!

So now that you've watched the clip, I can move on in saying that the enemy can use our personal pain for his own gain. You may be experiencing the same thing but in a different way. He is literally drawing on our individual painful situations and coupling it with negative daily news and creating non-stop chaos.

For example, my personal experience with the justice system as it related to my son coupled with constant news about our current president being a racist and other additional news about police brutality began shaping my perception of the truth of God's word.

Many of us are just like Adam and Eve walking in the Garden of truth when the serpent presents us with a better view and that's the world view. It doesn't just happen all at once because most have abstained from engaging with the negativity in social media and other places for a long time. However, the headlines became more aggressive and the language becomes more appealing for us to engage.

Here's what I want you to know: people sit in rooms and plot on ways to get your attention. They map out your psychology and work around the clock to find headlines that will make us click and engage. The first click will not be that bad, but then you find yourself clicking more and more and more and now you've engaged, commented, and submersed yourself in the madness.

The people of God should be light in the midst of darkness

As an Online Business Strategist, I'm on the internet most of the time, so even I got caught up in the ploy to cause chaos in myself and other people.

But Here's The Truth,

We all got pain, and these are the times that the pain inside of us is being ignited for either good or evil. We can submit our situations unto God and believe His truth, or we can use our pain as a springboard to create more negativity within our world.

Again, this is a different kind of post

In the midst of it all here's what was revealed to me:

#1 The people that you're trying to defend aren't your people, but they are my people, and I will take care of my people. When Moses stood up for the Israelites', God had sent Him to do so. Therefore, he had the anointing and backing of God to win the battle. In the same sense, he has awakened people to stand up during this day and time as well, but for His glory and not for our own personal stories. We don't know who those chosen people are, so we have to be prayerful as to who we follow, back, and engage with. What is the spirit behind the message?

#2 For my own personal injustice, it is better to stay hidden "in the secret place under the shadow of the almighty." Why? "Because [my] struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms" ( Ephesians 6:12 New International Version).

#3 I don't have to fight my own battles because God will fight them for me; all I have to do is watch. . . .just watch from the secret place and  "only with my eyes, will I behold, and see the reward of the wicked" ( Ephesians 6:8).

Songs Of Comfort When Overcoming Negative Circumstances

The Battle Is Not Yours
No Weapon Formed Against You Shall Prosper
Great Is Thy Faithfulness

So How Do You Overcome Negative Circumstances?

You hide under the shadow of the almighty. You only come out when and if He tells you to. You decide to disengage from the tricks of the enemy who is trying to make His issues your issues because the answer to our problems, regardless of color, is God.

Who knows why people suffer the way they do; I even told my son to turn to God, because He is the only one that can help him. In all honesty, it seemed that the more he turned to God, the more I turned away from God and towards my own solutions which will not work against a system rooted in wickedness.  I would definitely lose going up against it. How many before me thought they could, but failed. Only God can bring a system like that to its knees.

Oftentimes, God's people suffer due to a lack of obedience. Who knows how much suffering I would have endured if I had continued down the path I was going. My heart would have gotten darker and darker, and I would've eventually felt that I could beat the devil all on my own. This is how we remove ourselves from the peace of God and find our own path that leads us to destruction.

The danger in that is we get caught up in ourselves, how we feel, and what we want, and totally miss the move of God in our lives. David won his battle with Goliath because followed God, Elijah won his battle with Jezebel because he did it God's way, and Moses defeated Pharaoh because of God's instructions.

Contrary to victories within the scriptures, we discover in Judges 16:21 that Samson, the strongest man recorded in the Bible, ended up blind, with chains and shackles serving his enemy because of repented disobedience and refusing to do things God's way.

If we want to overcome negative circumstances in our lives, we need to stop right where we are and turn back to God. We all get off sometimes, but God said, "if my people which are called by name would humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, I will forgive their sin and heal their land" (2 chronicles 7:14).

We honestly can't save "our people," God's people. They have to turn back to Him, and He will save them when they do.

Long and different post I know, but this is real.

People are hurting and the enemy is attacking them through media and other forms of communication. We need to pray so we don't become prey in these last and evil days in which we live.

Once I go out of my own head and turned to God I felt so relieved. He is fully aware of what's going on. I do not have to carry the burden of His people. I do not have to fight my own battles either, and I will see the reward of the wicked if I trust Him.

In closing, God gave me Psalms 91

"1 He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand, but it shall not come nigh thee.
8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high because he hath known my name.
15He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honor him.
16With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation" ( Psalms 91: 1-16 Bible Hub).

And that's how you and I can overcome negative circumstances and not be overtaken by them.

How To Have Faith To Move Mountains

How To Have Faith That Moves Mountains!  (Daily Inspirational Memory Verse)  "But he must ask in faith, without doubting, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea blown and tossed by the wind."  James 1:6 Are you facing an impossible situation today? What mountain is standing in the way of your breakthrough: is it lack of finances, sickness, broken relationships, family issues, or some other situation that's got you stagnated and doubting God's ability to bring you out?  The scriptures reveal in   James 1:6-8   that  "6. . .  he must ask in faith, without doubt, because he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, blown and tossed by the wind.  7  That   man   should not   expect   to receive   anything   from   the   Lord.   8  He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.…" Here's The Deal: It's by faith that you were saved; in Romans 10:9 we discover that if you confess with your mouth, " Jesus is L
